Configuration Management Specialist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Track the status and progress of configuration paper and contractual deliverables (including engineering changes)

• Update all CM databases and prepare accurate reports

• Facilitate, support and coordinate various meetings and telecons and taking minutes (including the typing and distribution).

• Prepare and distribute agendas and minutes

• Verify hardware configuration prior to chamber tests and shipping

• Support customer requests

• GSE Configuration Control

• Review CRs for required updates and verify changes are incorporated

• Review EMU Hardware for engineering change impact and YTN requirements: TRR, hardware build-ups and downgrades, hardware transfers, and flight builds.

• Perform other clerical duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE:

Requires High School Diploma with a minimum of 1-3 years related work experience in NASA/CM customer direction process.
