JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performs basic requirements research for application or system design. Translates basic requirements into functional specifications. Provides assistance to design, develop, program, execute simple test plans, implement and document basic computing applications. Writes and compiles basic code and constructs basic database objects based on documented design. Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality. Provides user support by validating reported problems and assists in preparing user training materials. Supports change management by compiling customer issues and requests.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Should have working knowledge of programming languages C, C++, Java, Perl, SQL and PL/SQL. Some knowledge of communications, networking, and protocols (e.g., Transport Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Hypertext Mark-up Language and Extensible Mark-up Language (XML). This position requires an individual who is self-motivated, team-oriented, customer-focused and who is quick to adapt to ever changing needs and priorities, with excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree and up to one year related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics
